It should be easy to insert the two missing pins and re-solder … the computer is working fine without those two pins! (at least it seems to be working fine) However, I suspect they are needed for something. (but having one would be nice) Amazingly. An’ I didn’t want to make the trip back to have him fix it… when I could easily do it. connections to be re-soldered… RED arrows: two missing pins! … Yes… they fell out and i lost them (sigh!) Here’s a picture below, just before soldering support tabs right & left. I managed to re-align the connector over the pins and re-soldered the connector mount tabs (pitifully small support for a connector that can get much hard handling The connector lifted partially away from the pins still soldered to the logic board. (1 of four connections that must be disconnected when removing the display) Like so many foolish people out there, I managed to damage the display connector (or someone before me) when removing the display.
